  3. Use your right thumb to close your right nostril and inhale deeply through your left nostril for a count of four.
  4. Close your left nostril with your right ring finger, release the right nostril, and exhale completely for a count of eight.
  5. Inhale deeply through your right nostril for a count of four, then close the right nostril and exhale through the left nostril for a count of eight.
  6. This completes one round. Repeat for 5-10 rounds, gradually increasing the count and focusing on your breath.
